30th Annual Day Celebrations

Stars descended on Sree Cauvery School, when the inmates of the school celebrated their 30th Annual Day on 20th December 2012 with the fitting theme - 100 years of Indian Cinema.

Hon'ble Minister for Youth Services & Sports, M.P.Appachu Ranjan was the Chief Guest for the day. Many eminent members of the Kodava Samaja also graced the occasion. The evening started with the auspicious lighting of the lamp followed by the introduction and welcoming of the guests.

Apart from the General Proficiency awards for the current year, the toppers and distinction holders of batch 2011-2012 were awarded with trophies and certificates. The Cauvery House captains received the Award for the Winning House of the current year. The sheer increase in the number of awardees denotes the school's effort in improving the quality of the coaching and effort put in by students. We wish them all the best in their future academics and career.

The day became more special, when the Chief Guest also inaugurated our new Kindergarten Play Area for our tiny tots. This was followed by speeches by the Chairman, KSEC, the Chief Guest and the President of Kodava Samaja. Our Principal with the Annual Report concluded the formal proceedings of the evening.

The atmosphere became exuberant and high-spirited, once our rising stars sizzled and sparkled on the stage with the dance and song numbers from Kannada and Hindi films of the last century. It was probably the most perfect way to say good-bye to 2012 and Welcome 2013 with cheers!

Wish you all a great 2013 ahead!
